"I'm a Complan Girl", never had she thought that she would be one of the happening actresses herself. Born on April 10, 1986, Ayesha Takia was the first to act with her co-model and today's heart throb Shahid Kapur - the then Complan Boy. Her father Nishit is a Gujarati, and her mother, Faridah Takia, is a half British and half Maharashtrian Ayesha debuted with Taarzan: The Wonder Car and was also noticed in Socha Na Tha with debut actor Abhay Deol. Unfortunately, many of her movies were not super hits but all her movies made her noticeable at all times. The actress was highly praised for her work in Dor, a small budget film in which she played the role of a young widowed Rajasthani woman living in a traditional joint family for which she even earned the critics award. | ||||
