Farhan Azmi declares assets worth Rs 16cr


1634_ayesha-takia1Mumbai hotelier and builder Farhan Azmi, who filed his nomination as Samajwadi Party candidate for January 20 bypolls from Bhiwandi

Azmi is the son of SP leader Abu Asim Azmi, ranked among the richest politicians in Maharashtra having declared assets exceeding Rs 125 crore.

The SP candidate’s fortunes include a 830 sqft apartment at Pali Hill in Bandra, priced at Rs 2.93 crore, and farming as well as non-agricultural plots in Aurangabad, Bhiwandi and Lucknow, valued at above Rs 9.38 crore. The businessman has immovable assets including a BMW 7 series car and a Mercedes Benz.
